Radiology Supervisor

MONDAY - FRIDAY PLUS CALL

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Supervisor to lead our radiology department and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team, oversee daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiology technologists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Oversee the scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of radiology personnel.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies related to radiology practices.
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to facilitate accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.
Maintain and update departmental procedures, protocols, and documentation.
Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance, and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and inventory to optimize resource utilization.
Participate in quality assurance programs and implement improvements to enhance service quality.

Skills and

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
Valid state licensure and certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
Proven experience in radiology, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.

Requirements Skills and

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred.
Current certification and licensure in Radiologic Technology.
Proven experience in a radiology management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in radiology.
Proficient in radiology information systems and electronic health records.
