Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative care team
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Responsibilities
Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, ambulation, repositioning, and transfers
Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas
Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
Follow all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
