Behavioral Health Technician; BHT Day Shift

Pyramid Healthcare is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. This is a hands-on opportunity to support adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment while helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

As a BHT, you'll work directly with clients and the treatment team to support daily programming, client safety, and recovery goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct supervision, support, and engagement to clients
• Assist with client intake, orientation, and daily routines
• Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and incidents
• Support therapeutic activities, groups, and scheduled programming
• Observe and document medication self-administration according to protocol
• Assist with transportation to appointments and program activities
• Respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional crises using approved interventions
• Support clients with activities of daily living and dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and structured residential environment
• Complete required documentation, training, and compliance activities
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain upon hire

Preferred:

• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, mental health, healthcare, residential treatment, or social services
• Experience working with vulnerable populations

• $17.00/hour + up to $1.50 shift differential
