Job Responsibilities *
* * Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification or registration and as required by Federal and State laws and regulations.
* Coordinates all unit operations on assigned shift and assures compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Facilitates proper placement of patients on nursing unit in collaboration with the Patient Access Coordinator or designee (BHS coordinates with Intake).
* Makes shift assignments and completes assignment board.
* Adjusts all staff appropriately (flexing up and down) utilizing the Resource Management Plan.
* Assures staff remains compliant with documentation standards.
* Serves as a clinical resource for unit staff and encourages evidence-based practice.
