Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Ultrasound Department, Part-Time, ED Town Center

Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Part-Time Days opportunity working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am-5:30pm. Call and holiday rotation required.

• Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures
• Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

• 1-2 Years Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
• 1-2 Years Hospital-based department-specific work experience
• 1-2 Years Ultrasound Experience
• 1-2 Years Customer Service Experience

• Vocational School
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - ARDMS Preferred
• Registered Radiologic Technologist- ARRT Preferred
• Registered Technologist in Sonography - ARRT Preferred
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI
  - Cardiovascular Preferred
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - ARDMS Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)-AHA Required

If hired, must obtain certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) and RVT or ARRT(VS) or RVS within 12 months of hire.

This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be located at Baptist ED Town Center in Jacksonville, FL.
