Job OverviewProvide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in Saunders Medical Center's Long-Term Care facility. The LTC CNA assists residents with daily activities, monitors their condition, and works closely with the nursing team to provide safe, quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care according to their care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, meal consumption, and other required documentation.
- Report changes in residents' conditions or abnormal vital signs to the Charge Nurse.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and alarms.
- Assist with safe transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly resident rooms and care areas.
- Assist with resident admissions, dismissals, meals, and other assigned unit duties.
- Follow all safety, infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
