Cath Lab Medical Receptionist, Southfield, MI

Part Time | 15-20 Hours Weekly + 1-2 Weekends Per Month

Pay Rate: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule
  • Flexible Part Time Schedule
  • Minimum requirement of 15-20 hours weekly
  • 1-2 weekends per month required
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist in a Cath Lab, Procedure Lab, or similar setting
  • Knowledge of medical insurance verification and authorizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Experience managing multiple phone lines and scheduling appointments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
  • EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist patients with intake paperwork and forms
  • Prepare and organize patient charts prior to procedures
  • Upload and maintain documentation within the EMR system
  • Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Address patient concerns and answer general questions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients
