Description:
Travel opportunity in Behavioral Health.
Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.Two years of experience in a hospital setting required.
Candidates must possess an active compact license.
BLS certification is required.
Unit information includes 18 beds and 29 staff members.
Day shift team includes a charge nurse, an RN or LPN, two mental health technicians, a social worker, and a case manager.
Night shift team includes a charge nurse, an RN or LPN, and a mental health technician.
Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 8 patients.
Typical equipment includes vitals machines and EKGs.Candidates should have experience in mental health.

Typical procedures involve behavioral health treatment and therapeutic groups.
The unit is a locked environment for both voluntary and involuntary patients.
Every other weekend commitment is required.
Dress code allows for scrubs or business casual attire.
