One to One​/Therapeutic Behavior Aide

# Job Overview Sheppard Pratt School in Lanham is a nonpublic special education day school providing educational, therapeutic, and daily living services to students ages 5 to 21. Our tailored programs cater to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and other health impairments, ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive. You will join a

This role offers
** rich, entry level, experience in special education
** if your goals include careers like special education teacher, registered behavior technician (RBT), or board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA).  Starting pay rate: $18.50/hour.

Specific responsibilities include:
* Supporting the teacher as a
** paraprofessional educator
** and/or working with assigned student as a
** 1:1 dedicated aide**.
* Supporting Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives by
** documenting student progress
** and providing additional instruction and structure.
* Providing educational and adaptive behavior support.
* Providing
** behavior intervention and treatment.**
* ** Opportunities for leading

The pay range for this position is $18.50/hr minimum - $22.95/hr maximum.  Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
