Registered Behavior Technician - Substitute Floater Hawaii DOE

Hawaii DOE Location will be within the following school districts:

• Central District

• Winward District

• Maui District

• Kauai District

May vary depending on the client's school schedule but within the hours of 7:30am-3:45pm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substitute Floater Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

• Substitute/Float to different schools within the school district

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.

• Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.

• Assist students in appropriately engaging and participating in class.

• Collect and record data on client progress.

• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding client progress and treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

• College Degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters) or a minimum of 48 college credits

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

• Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in an educational setting.

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.

• Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred)
