Therapist Operations Manager

The Therapist Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities of the therapist team and engaging in clinical work at Sunstone clinics. The Therapist Operations Manager is the operational lead for the therapist team, including overseeing the therapist teams’ daily work and performance, managing operational tasks and projects related to therapist team function and study startup, and engaging in daily problem solving for the clinic.

This role collaborates cross functionally with Sunstone team leads and reports to the VP of Operations.

Context :
Sunstone Therapies is the leader in the delivery of psychedelic-assisted therapy in the medical setting, focusing on the development and implementation of clinical trials today, and moving towards clinical delivery if and when therapies are approved. Sunstone Therapies is working to accelerate the on-the-ground learning and operations necessary to approve and scale psychedelic therapies in the medical setting. In service to Sunstone’s vision of Whole Person Healing for All, this position plays a role in Sunstone’s ability to deliver on its vision with Love and Rigor.

To be successful in this role in this growth stage start-up, the candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter and problem solver, be able to shift projects and priorities rapidly to meet emerging needs and approach the work with the values of love and rigor, which are essential to the Sunstone culture.

• Line manage the Sunstone therapist team, including overseeing day-to-day activities of the therapist team, approving PTO and expenses, helping with schedule troubleshooting, and leading regular therapist operations meetings and clinical supervision (group and individual)
• Oversee all activities related to Study Start Up for the therapist team including attending cross functional SSU meetings, assigning lead therapists where necessary, working with regulatory to ensure training timelines are met, and ensuring all delegated therapists have the required training and resources
