** About the Opportunity**## About the Opportunity The Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of PharmD and PhD graduates. A key element of the program’s success is preparing Fellows to meet evolving workforce needs across various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.
Fellows have the opportunity to work closely with our innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners, while engaging with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, teaching, service, and scholarly activities.
In partnership with Northeastern University, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company is offering a two-year Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Fellowship, based in Cambridge, MA (Boston area). The GMA Fellowship Program at Takeda offers experience in three therapeutic areas:
Gastrointestinal and Inflammation, Neuroscience, and Rare Diseases. The two-year Takeda GMA Fellowship Program is designed to prepare post-doctoral scholars for rewarding careers in the biopharmaceutical industry. Through hands-on experience, Fellows will work with various cross-functional teams to learn the role of Global Medical Affairs, develop skills in the analysis, interpretation, and communication of clinical data, and expand their scientific knowledge to render clinical insights and contribute to meeting the needs of healthcare professionals.##

* Responsible for leading or contributing to the execution of strategic medical tactics and activities within assigned rotations in Global Medical Functions—which include Scientific Communications and Global Medical Leadership, and may include Evidence Generation, Medical Information, Global Medical Excellence and Scientific Training, and Medical Program Management—with a sufficient level of independence and/or in close coordination/supervision by Fellows Program Advisors/Preceptors
* Complete mandatory teaching, recruiting, and professional development activities as assigned by Northeastern University, and serve as mentors/trainers for less-experienced Fellows
