The Role

As a Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Paramedic at Mercy Flights, you’ll do more than respond. You’ll:

Non-traditional care settings including patient homes and community locations

Shift work includes seven 12-hour shifts in a two-week period

Required Qualifications Education

Associate degree in Paramedicine or equivalent education required for Oregon Paramedic licensure

Bachelor’s degree in health, human services, or related field preferred

Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years as a Paramedic/EMT-Intermediate on a 911 transporting ambulance or equivalent community health experience
  • Behavioral or mental health experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid Oregon Paramedic License or/ EMT-Intermediate License and National Registry Paramedic certification
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certifications required
  • Community Health Worker (CHW) certification required within 12 months of hire
  • Community Paramedic (CP-C) certification preferred
