What

the MRI Technologist Role Involves

You'll perform high-quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. Your work will directly support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a safe, therapeutic diagnostic environment based on current practice standards and magnet safety guidelines
  • Participating actively in departmental improvement initiatives
  • Supporting sophisticated diagnostic workflows alongside a multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications Required
  • Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
  • Certification: ARRT certification, with MRI certification through ARRT
  • State Licensure: MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license through the State of Texas
  • Life Support: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtainable within 30 days of your start date
