OverviewSurgical Physician Assistant – Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
The Pediatric Division for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative team providing comprehensive care to patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
Responsibilities- Working under the supervision of an attending physician, the PA will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, and other approved care environments.
- The Physician Assistant will perform medical services within the scope of New York State regulations and Montefiore policies, participating in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients.
- In addition to core Physician Assistant responsibilities, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and obtain validation for department-specific procedural skills unique to Otorhinolaryngology.
- Bachelor Degree/ Masters Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license required
- NCCPA certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in Pediatrics preferred
- Experience in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) preferred
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant preferred
- This position is 4 days per week. Monday - Friday.
