Lakeportside Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine area designed to provide top-tier therapeutic services. Located in the vibrant community of Elizabeth, NJ, our center features modern amenities and a collaborative atmosphere that promotes teamwork and professional growth. You will work closely with two fellow Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), allowing for a supportive environment where ideas and techniques can be shared to enhance patient care. The position requires onsite work within our busy clinic, where you will engage directly with patients and the healthcare team.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and create personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a consistent workload by seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused and dedicated care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and evidence-based techniques to maximize patients' mobility and recovery.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs addressing the specific rehabilitation needs of individual patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to optimize overall patient care.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with clinic protocols and standards.
• Evaluate treatment efficacy, adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary, and maintain clear communication with patients regarding their progress.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, encouraging improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.

Our facility focuses primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Many of our patients have private medical insurance, which allows us to offer extensive and individualized care choices. Your ability to motivate and support our clients throughout their healing journeys is vital to their success.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist is required in the state of New Jersey.
• No history of disciplinary actions or license limitations.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation strategies.

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ideally WebPT, for efficient practice management.
• Ability to develop and conduct effective exercise regimens tailored to patients' needs.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
