Legacy Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy across inpatient and/or outpatient settings. In this role, you will assess nutritional status, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities include patient and family education, documentation in the EMR, participation in interdisciplinary rounds, and quality-improvement initiatives.

- Provide medical nutrition therapy for assigned patients in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on dietary needs and behavior change
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on care planning
- Document assessments, plans, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences
- Contribute to quality improvement, population health, and community wellness initiatives
- Stay current with clinical nutrition guidelines and regulatory standards
- Medical nutrition therapy (MNT)
- Nutrition assessment and care planning
- Knowledge of chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, renal, cardiac)
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Anthropometric and biochemical data interpretation
- Patient and family education
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Menu planning and therapeutic diets
- Regulatory and clinical practice guideline knowledge
- Quality improvement and outcome measurement

- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or similar (preferred)
