About the role:
Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the accurate collection, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of employee medical and occupational health data. The role supports occupational health programs by ensuring the integrity of health records, facilitating medical surveillance activities, monitoring health trends, and providing administrative and clinical support to occupational health initiatives while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations
Responsibilities:Medical Data Management
- Capture, validate, and maintain employee medical and occupational health records in relevant health information systems.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of medical data entry.
- Manage healthcare documentation, including medical examination reports, vaccination records, fitness-for-work assessments, and health surveillance results.
- Maintain employee confidentiality and data privacy in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.
- Coordinate and administer periodic medical examinations, health screenings, and vaccination programs.
- Track employee participation in occupational health programs and ensure timely follow-up.
- Monitor medical surveillance schedules and communicate upcoming requirements to employees and stakeholders.
- Support case management processes by maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health standards, medical record retention requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for occupational health processes.
- Support internal and external audits relating to occupational health records and programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and record management processes.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Experience managing electronic medical records and health databases.
- Experience in medical data management, reporting, and administration is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation and record management practices.
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and health information systems.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
