Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms areas according to company procedures and at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.

• Stock housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
• Observe knocking procedures upon entering a guest room.
• Clean the guest rooms assigned. Ensure the amenities are stocked for each cleaned room. Complete the entire housekeeping checklist.
• Accurately mark clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Report any damages or hazards present in guest rooms, e.g., burned out light bulbs, broken furniture, broken lights, etc., to Guestware or Housekeeping Coordinator.
• Secure guest room doors upon exiting the room.
• Keep the corridors and service area neat at all times.
• Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Follow safety and security procedures and rules.
• Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Utilize protective equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Report accidents, injuries, near‑misses, property damage or loss to management.
• Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
• Maintain a neat, clean and well‑groomed appearance, in accordance with the team member handbook.
• Perform any related duties as requested by management.
• Assist other Housekeeping Personnel when needed.

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and clean bathrooms.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to provide information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.
