Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa is seeking a highly reliable, organized and detail-oriented Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant to help maintain our professional spa environment in Floral Park, NY.

This is a part-time position typically scheduled once or twice per week. The role includes cleaning and maintaining spa areas, collecting used linens and transporting laundry off-site for washing and drying. Because Somatic does not have an on-site washer or dryer, reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

• Collect used sheets, towels, blankets, robes and other spa linens
• Transport laundry off-site for washing and drying
• Properly wash, dry, fold and return spa linens in clean condition
• Keep clean and used laundry separated during transport
• Organize and restock treatment-room linens and supplies
• Clean and sanitize treatment rooms, common areas and staff areas
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the reception area, hallways and restroom
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Dust, sweep, vacuum and mop designated areas
• Clean mirrors, surfaces, shelving and other high-touch areas
• Monitor laundry and housekeeping supplies and report when items are running low
• Follow all sanitation, safety and infection-control procedures
• Complete assigned tasks carefully and within the scheduled time
• Notify management promptly of maintenance, damage or cleanliness concerns

• Highly reliable, punctual and consistent
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Able to transport laundry safely to and from an off-site laundry location
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently without continuous supervision
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a quiet spa and wellness environment
• Able to lift, carry, bend, reach and perform repetitive housekeeping tasks
• Able to carry laundry bags, supplies and light equipment
• Previous housekeeping, laundry, hotel, salon, spa or medical-office cleaning experience is preferred
• Evening or weekend availability may occasionally be needed

Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa is an established massage therapy, skincare and wellness practice serving Floral Park, Queens and Nassau County for more than 15 years. Maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming environment is essential to the experience we provide every client.
