As an Events Server, you'll play a key role in bringing each event to life by providing warm, attentive service and ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up event spaces (tables, chairs, etc.) according to event specifications
- Serve food and wine while delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Share information on the menu, wines, winery, and winery history.
- Work closely with the culinary and events teams to ensure seamless service
- Assist with event breakdown and winery closing duties
This is a part-time variable hour position that offers approximately 20 hours/week on average (2-3+ shifts/week). Most shifts support dinner events, with some lunches, and typically run: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Events are most frequently held on Saturdays and Sundays for social events and Tuesdays through Thursdays for corporate events.
Requirements- 2+ years of serving, catering, banquet, or event hospitality experience preferred
- Passion for providing exceptional guest service
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy events
Physical Requirements
- Availability to work evenings, at least two weekends per month, and occasional holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout a shift
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry food and beverage trays for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, and opening/pouring wine bottles
