Job Summary:

ONX Wines is hiring a part-time weekend Tasting Room Host to join our team. This role is for an enthusiastic and friendly individual who will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Tasting Room Host will greet guests upon entry and lead them to a tasting experience with one of our Hospitality team members.

• Warmly welcomes guests upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Escorts guests to their tasting area and introduces them to their designated Hospitality team member.
• Provides excellent customer service, addressing any immediate questions or needs guests may have.
• Ensures the entry area is organized and that guests are directed smoothly to their tastings.
• Collaborates closely with the Hospitality team to ensure seamless service and communication.
• Adheres to all safety and compliance regulations, including age verification as necessary.
• Prepares the tasting room by following the opening and closing procedures.
• Manages cleanliness and appearance of all tasting room areas.
• Assists in stocking the tasting room with wine, supplies, glasses, bags, and merchandise daily.
• Upon hire, successfully completes Serv Safe training (food handler certification) and Workplace Harassment Prevention training.

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be able to lift 45 - 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have an interest in wine.
• Must have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills; ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Must be able to engage with guests, and the ability to freely and comfortably initiate conversations.
• Must have the ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively.
• Must be available to work weekends and holiday weekends, specifically from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
