THE

JOB:

It is the responsibility of the Fire Control Maintenance Dispatcher (Full Time) to provide excellent internal and external Guest Service by using excellent service and communication skills to support the guest, engineers and other departments in their goals. Is part of a courteous, professional, and engaging team that oversees all department operations as related to the life safety system and facility management system.

THE

STARTING RATE:

$21.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Manage computerized maintenance management and life safety systems to prioritize, manage and dispatch maintenance team, complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis
  • Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention
  • Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task
  • Own requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction, answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas
  • Create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance, anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day, prioritize guest requests and dispatches
  • Knowledgeable of Department and Hotel goals, Hotel information to answer guest inquiries, and work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Preferred
  • Strong typing and communication skills Preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency Preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
