Hotel Guest Room Attendant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Professionally cleans all Guest room accommodations to allow the guest the maximum satisfaction during their stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make up and re-supply rooms in accordance with established standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Ensures all necessary supplies are maintained at proper par levels.
• Maintains assigned storage area.
• Maintains all pertinent equipment.
• Ensures all guest contact is handled in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Responds to guest inquiries in a timely, expedient manner.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• 1. Knowledge of all cleaning chemicals used.
• 2. Knowledge of assigned cleaning equipment.
• 3. Dependable, honest and trustworthy.
• 4. Must have a good attendance record.

• Physically capable of pushing, bending, standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

Education Required:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:

No prior experience necessary

Computer

Skills:

No computer skills required.

Certificates & Licenses:
Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
