The Laundry Attendant is responsible for receiving, cleaning, sorting, organizing, folding, counting, and distributing of linens to housekeepers. Laundry attendants ensure the cleanliness of all linens is maintained by the department.

• Placing and organizing linens inappropriate areasfor housekeepers.
• Receiving linen bins and keeping counts.
• Collecting soiled linen bags from housekeepers and reporting if bags are missing.
• Making linen bags when needed.
• Assistinghousekeepers when necessary.
• Operationofwashers,dryers,towelfolder,sortingstation, androllingstation
• Processdirtylinensbroughtinbynextdeliverydate
• Useprotectiveequipmentwhenworkingwithsoiledlinensandpossesstheabilitytolearntheproceduresforprocessingisolationlinens
• Checkandmaintainchemicalinjectionsystemandperformminimalmaintenancewithinthelaundry area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Able to work flexible hours and days with some weekends and holidays required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass a background check prior to hire.
• Must be able tofrequentlystand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel materials;reach withhands and arms; talk and/or hear.
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds and push heavy cards without assistance.
