A golf cart attendant prepares, maintains, and manages golf carts, assists golfers with their equipment, and handles related duties to ensure a smooth experience for guests. Their tasks include cleaning carts, making sure they are gassed or charged, helping with bag loading and unloading, and sometimes retrieving items for players on the course. They also manage the flow of carts and may perform other tasks like cleaning the driving range and assisting the pro shop.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES- Cart maintenance:
Clean, wash, refuel, and charge golf carts; inspect them for any damage or necessary repairs. - Guest assistance:
Greet golfers, help them load and unload their clubs, and direct them to their carts. - Organization and storage:
Stage carts for use, return them to the cart barn, and ensure they are properly stored and organized. - Range operations:
In some roles, they may also be responsible for collecting range balls and keeping the driving range stocked. - Customer service:
Provide friendly and professional service, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience on the course. - Other duties:
May involve general cleaning of the work area, assisting with tournament setup, and other tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge of the game of golf and it's rules
- Positive guest interaction
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets. Continuous movement outside on the course and inside the club.
