- As a Service Manager at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $85,000 - $95,000 annual salary range.
As a Service Manager, you will lead the exciting pre-opening and opening phases of our Food & Beverage restoration project, the first major transformation at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel since 1940. This initiative includes overseeing a Supper Club & Bar aimed at setting new benchmarks in luxury dining and bar service. You will be instrumental in contributing up to $15 million to an already successful $40 million Food and Beverage operation.
A day in the life of our Service Managers demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that a Service Manager accomplishes would be lengthy, but the list below is essential to know.
- Our Service Managers are responsible for managing and overseeing daily F&B operations during the restaurant’s dinner service. This will include recognizing all in-House and notable guests, building and strengthening relationships with our guests and teams.
- In addition, Service Managers work hands-on with the culinary and stewarding teams while communicating requests and concerns to drive problem solving and resolution.
- Sometimes our guests have special requests involving personal preferences, dietary needs and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Service Managers.
- Provide leadership to inspire, motivate and empower staff in the restaurant and bar to deliver the ultimate guest experience.
- Develop and lead in the execution of a Restaurant & Bar operating and marketing strategy that is aligned with the hotel’s strategy and optimizes outlet performance; increases employee and guest loyalty and engagement and maximizes financial performance.
- Recruit, select, train, orient, evaluate, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline Restaurant staff to ensure established cultural and service standards are met. Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise and review job contributions; plan and review compensation actions and enforce policies and procedures.
- Remain visible in the operation, provide recognition and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients and group contacts.
