Eataly's La Scuola is a place where guests can learn about and experience Italian food and wine through engaging classes, tastings, and private events. The Events & Education Associate supports the planning and execution of programming, with a strong focus on wine education and guest experience.
- Supports and facilitates wine classes, tastings, demonstrations, and private events
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of wine, with an emphasis on Italian wines and regional varieties
- Assists with planning event programming, menus, wine selections, and class materials
- Provides engaging and informative experiences for guests while adapting to different levels of wine knowledge
- Supports event setup, service, breakdown, and overall organization of La Scuola spaces
- Works closely with the Events & Education team, culinary and front-of-house teams, and clients to ensure successful events
- Ensures proper handling, storage, and presentation of wine and event supplies
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- 2+ years of wine, hospitality, or events experience
- Strong knowledge of wine;
Italian wine knowledge preferred - Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Wine certification (WSET, CMS, or equivalent) preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to use knives, hand tools and standard commercial kitchen equipment
