The position will oversee the Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Catering, Events and Convention Services functions of the resort. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive group, leisure, consortia, corporate, incentive, wedding, and event revenue while strengthening the resort’s position within the luxury hospitality market.

  • Identify booking-cycle challenges, market opportunities, and business risks, and develop strategies and tactics to address them.
  • Develop and execute strategic revenue plans for group, incentive, consortia, corporate, leisure, wedding, and event business.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, meeting planners, incentive houses, corporate accounts, destination management companies, wedding professionals, media, and community partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve budgeted group room revenue, transient and leisure revenue, consortia revenue, catering revenue, and event-related food and beverage revenue.
  • Manage the completion and accuracy of administrative tasks in sales, marketing, revenue, and events systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of proposals, contracts, quotes, reports, forecasts, account plans, and business plans.
  • Comply with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, ensuring the confidentiality and proper handling of any information accessed in the course of employment.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to the Hotel Colleague Handbook and Internal Work Regulations, complying at all times with its rules, policies, and procedures, particularly those related to fire prevention, hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude toward any changes within the department, in line with the needs of the industry, the company, or the hotel.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in carrying out job responsibilities and perform any other reasonable duties or responsibilities that may be assigned, as required by business needs or guest service demands.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance on the completion of all financial reports.
  • Ensures timely payment to suppliers.
  • Obtains and submits the necessary information for SIP results.
  • Prepare and present ownership and corporate updates, including revenue forecasts, market trends, business performance, strategic initiatives, sales activity, marketing results, and future opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management, Operations, Food and Beverage, Rooms, Spa, Golf, and other departments to ensure alignment between commercial strategies and the guest experience.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree

Minimum Years of Experience
:
Three (3) years

Previous sales, marketing, public relations, catering, or event leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort.

Luxury resort, seasonal resort, leisure transient, group, incentive, consortia, and destination-event experience highly preferred.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Strong understanding of luxury travel, resort sales, group business, event production, and destination marketing.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and time-management skills.
