Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
• Properly separate items according to color, fabric, and washing requirements.
• Fold and organize clean linens according to hotel standards.
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens for the Housekeeping department.
• Deliver clean linen and towels to designated housekeeping areas.
• Collect and transport soiled linen from designated areas.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report mechanical problems or malfunctions immediately.
• Use laundry chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and hotel safety procedures.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Monitor linen inventory and report shortages or damaged items.
• Assist Housekeeping with special laundry projects when needed.
• Support Room Attendants and House Aides with linen and supply requests.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous hotel or laundry experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely operate laundry equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift.
• Ability to lift and transport laundry bags and linen loads safely.

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing hotel linens and laundry while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
