Position Summary

The Bath Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and overall presentation of The Standard Spa’s indoor baths, locker rooms, and assigned spa areas.

This position actively monitors the bathing and spa environment, anticipates guest and member needs, replenishes linens and amenities, assists guests with lockers and spa facilities, and helps ensure our spaces remain clean, safe, stocked, and ready to enjoy throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and presentation of indoor baths, locker rooms, and assigned spa areas.
  • Inspect and prepare bathing areas before and after guest use.
  • Welcome and assist guests and members throughout the baths, locker rooms, gym, and spa areas.
  • Help guests navigate spa facilities and provide basic information regarding available amenities and experiences.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
  • Remove used towels, robes, linens, and guest supplies and replenish areas with fresh inventory.
  • Maintain properly stocked lockers, refreshment areas, treatment supplies, amenities, and operating supplies.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize showers, restrooms, lockers, bathing areas, surfaces, and other assigned guest spaces.
  • Maintain organized linen, supply, and storage areas throughout the shift.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and chemicals according to established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Continuously monitor spa areas for cleanliness, maintenance needs, and potential safety hazards.
  • Address immediate hazards when appropriate and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to Spa Management.
  • Assist Spa team members with linen, supplies, treatment areas, and other operational needs as required.
  • Properly handle and turn in lost-and-found items according to established procedures.
  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with Spa, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to maintain the overall guest environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Spa Management.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality, spa, resort, housekeeping, or guest service experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Warm, professional, and guest-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide assistance without being intrusive.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks while responding to guest and operational needs.
  • Ability to remain calm and use good judgment when addressing guest concerns or unexpected situations.
