At Ted Turner Reserves , we connect people with nature through one-of-a-kind outdoor experiences in luxury settings. We’re looking for dedicated, detail-oriented hospitality professionals interested in joining our Housekeeping team at Vermejo in 2027.

We’re planning ahead for our Spring 2027 season!

We’re beginning to connect with candidates interested in seasonal Room Attendant opportunities. Positions may be up to six months, with anticipated start dates beginning in March 2027
. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as staffing needs are confirmed, and qualified candidates will be contacted as hiring needs develop.

As a Room Attendant, your primary duties will be centered around maintaining the beauty and charm of our guest lodging and surrounding facilities.

You will also be responsible for:

• Maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness and presentation of guest housing, lodges, and public areas.
• Responding to guests’ needs.
• Ensuring and coordinating the laundering of guest linens.
• Coordinating the timely return of all lost and found items to the front desk.
• Coordinating with the front desk regarding guest room status.
• Maintaining knowledge of arrivals / departures and stay-overs for each day.
• Staying up-to-date on the most efficient eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
• Maintaining knowledge of handling hazardous materials.
• Reporting maintenance issues.
• Informing Management of any guest-related issues.
• Maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Coordinating annual deep cleaning of guest facilities and off-season cleaning of seasonal employee housing.
• All other duties as assigned.

What this isn’t:

• A management or supervisory position

• You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.

Preferred:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous housekeeping in a luxury hotel/resort setting.
• Familiarity with eco-conscious or sustainable practices.

• You’re alert, friendly and eager to assist guests politely and promptly.
• You demonstrate care and compassion for team members, putting the needs of the team before your own.
• You’re self-directed, energetic, and motivated with multi-tasking capabilities.
• You’re creative, adaptive and willing to work with existing core resort philosophy and style.
• You demonstrate clean work habits and attention to detail.
• You conduct yourself in a professional manner in and out of the work setting.

This position will require you to live at Vermejo headquarters, located approximately 40 miles from the closest town (Raton, NM). Vermejo’s location is approximately 4.5 hours’ drive south of Denver or 4.5 hours’ drive north of Albuquerque.

Vermejo offers single- and double-bedroom dorm room style company housing (subject to availability). You may be subject to sharing a room with one other employee depending on the availability of a single dorm room.
