Job Summary
The “
Site HR Business Partner
” will be based at our site located in Orangeburg, SC, reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner. This role will partner with a GM and their team to develop and deploy strategic planning goals to build a dynamic organization that delivers significant and sustainable growth.
- Consult and assist business on strategic HR matters, including organizational design, restructuring, talent management, career development, and succession planning.
- Plan, implement, and facilitate HR initiatives such as workforce planning, performance reviews, employee engagement, talent and succession reviews, and compensation planning for own business segment.
- Develop and deliver HR strategies that meet the business needs.
- Drive employee communications within own business segment.
- Assist with HR communications and train managers on new programs, systems, and processes.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations.
- Ensure consistent treatment of employees and application of company policies and procedures.
- Research trends and metrics, including exit interview questionnaires, to develop retention strategies.
- Advise and coach business teams on talent management, workforce planning, coaching, performance management, retention, and succession planning.
- Partner with COEs and HR Service Center to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions.
- Drive employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, orientation, offboarding, exit interviews, leaves of absence, unemployment hearings, and EH&S activities.
- Communicate key goals and priorities through written communications and presentations.
- Develop and manage HR projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with all employee levels.
- Develop, facilitate, and deliver training on HR topics for managers and employees.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR or business experience with focus on HR consulting, project management, and change management.
