Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing coordination, and onboarding new employees.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and maintain employee personnel files.
  • Process employment changes, terminations, and HR documentation.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and answer employee questions regarding benefits and company policies.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support payroll by tracking employee information and resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and drug testing.
  • Assist with I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
  • Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support training, employee recognition, and other HR initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, supervisors, and managers.
  • Perform other administrative and HR duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain discretion, integrity, confidentiality, and present self in a professional manner at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of employees, company vendors/suppliers and general public.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze the skills, knowledge, and experience of applicants
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the company’s HRIS Systems, particularly VISTA is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of MSOffice (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years working in the human resources field.
  • Construction, manufacturing, or other multi-location workforce experiences is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk.
  • Able to work from a computer screen.
  • Occasional walking and standing.
  • Use of hands with controlled finger dexterity.
  • Able to hear, speak and see.
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
