Duties
* Utilize automated information systems and programs to initiate data/information queries, retrieve, view, report, process, and otherwise handle information necessary for information reconciliation.
* Identify HR military problems and recommends solutions.
* Advise and assist commanders and staff officers in direction of personnel utilization and authorization on deployments, inquires, correspondence.
* Manage all review and analysis data concerning military personnel.
* Serve as Human Resources Specialist responsible for implementing a comprehensive Regiment-level military personnel (S1) program for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
* TDY travel is required 5% of the time.

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Experience in HR Military functions which includes strength management, evaluations, and personnel actions.
2) Identifying deficiencies and solutions to problem areas impacting the success of military personnel operations
3) Interpreting and applying Human Resources policies that impact manning. OR
Education:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Education FOREIGN
EDUCATION:
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
