** Job Summary
** The Office of Institutional Ethics & Compliance (OIEC) is seeking an individual to serve in an important role supporting institutional work involving ethics, compliance, equal employment opportunity, and Title IX. The position serves as an important point of contact for students, faculty, and staff and plays a key role in the intake, assessment, and coordination of sensitive matters.
As the beginning role within a growing OIEC career path, this position provides the opportunity to develop broad knowledge and experience across multiple areas of institutional compliance and complaint resolution. The successful candidate will work closely with OIEC staff and campus partners, gain experience with a wide range of matters, and build the knowledge and skills necessary for continued professional growth within OIEC.

** Job Description
**** Typical duties include but not limited to:
*** Serves as the initial point of contact within the Office of Institutional Ethics & Compliance for concerns related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Title IX, compliance, and ethics.
* Conducts initial assessments of reported concerns to identify the nature, scope, and urgency of the matter and determine appropriate next steps.
* Collects, documents, and verifies relevant information during the intake process, including complainant contact information, allegations, witnesses, supporting documentation, evidence and desire outcomes.
* Evaluates reported concerns and determine appropriate referral or escalation for review or investigation. Connect individuals with appropriate university resources, including Faculty Affairs, the Dean of Students, University Ombuds, and Employee Relations, as appropriate.
* Assists with complaint resolution and the investigative process, including facilitating informal resolutions, compliance reviews, and other appropriate resolution processes.
* Coordinates supportive measures and accommodations related to pregnancy, religion, and other applicable circumstances in accordance with university policies and applicable regulations.
* Coordinates intake and investigation assignments and monitor cases to facilitate timely follow-up, communication, and resolution.
* Collaborates with internal partners to facilitate the appropriate transition and coordination of complaints through established resolution processes and maintain effective case management practices in a high-volume environment.
* Provides training, support, outreach, and programming related to equal employment opportunity, Title IX, compliance, ethics, and related institutional policies.
* Establishes and maintains complaint intake files and accurate, confidential records of case activity, communications, and related documentation.
* Prepares regular reports and analyses regarding intake activity, case demographics, trends, and other information to support monitoring, assessment, and continuous improvement.
** Other duties:
*** Serves as a Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act
* Assists with office events or programs as needed
* Assists with administrative tasks such as monitoring emails, answering phones, etc.

** This position requires either seven years of relevant full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of relevant full-time experience

* Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

*** Master's Degree from an accredited institution
* Experience in human resources, compliance, legal, social services, higher education, or a related field involving complaint intake or case management.
* Work experience with EEO and/or Title IX complaints.
* Bilingual.
* Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments involving sensitive or complex matters.
