Job Description

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Recruiting Relations Specialist reports to the Human Resources Recruiting Manager. The Human Resources Recruiting Relations Specialist coordinates and implements, recruitment strategies to meet the needs of their assigned areas. The Specialist serves as a member of the Recruitment Team to attract, recruit and retain candidates for SRHS positions and to coordinate with the hiring process. Human Resources Recruiting Relations Specialist collaborates with key departmental and organizational leaders to lead the strategy and implementation of employment branding, talent programs, communities, and systems in alignment with key human resources (HR) initiatives for short and long-term talent and workforce needs.

He/she manages strategic internal and external partnerships and assists in promoting the Health System as an employer of choice. The Human Resources Recruiting Relations Specialist participates in discussions with key stakeholders and HR professionals related to diversity recruitment, staffing, and succession planning. Expectation is for all performed duties to be in accordance with Singing River Health System procedures and policies, accreditation organization, and governing guidance and publications for health care employees.

Work is moderately active: involves frequent requirements to move about the office, move about the facility, and to travel to another facility within the SRHS service area. Expected to use safe lifting practices in all areas of job performance and employees are responsible to request help whenever needed, regardless of the weight, using available assistance, i.e. lifting devices or additional staff.

Work involves using many physical motions in performing daily work activities;
Work involves using repetitive motions: substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and or fingers while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard. Work involves being able to perceive the nature of sound at normal speaking levels with or without correction; the ability to make fine discriminations in sound. Work requires close visual and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus, i.e. shift gaze from viewing a computer monitor to forms/printed material that are closer to compare data at close vision.
