As an HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting associates throughout their employment journey, from onboarding and engagement to payroll and leave administration. This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while helping ensure HR processes run efficiently and confidentially. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
WhatYou'll Do
- Serve as a key support partner across multiple HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, leave administration, and employee engagement.
- Process payroll-related activities accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Track and maintain leave of absence records, reporting, and documentation.
- Generate and distribute HR reports to support business and workforce needs.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, creating a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience.
- Partner with leaders and teams to plan and support associate engagement programs, events, and recognition activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, serving as a trusted and approachable HR resource.
- Support recruiting initiatives through community outreach, job fairs, and talent attraction events.
- Communicate company programs, initiatives, and updates in ways that engage employees across all locations.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry, research, and reporting activities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work in a distribution or warehouse environment with varying conditions, including cooler temperatures and extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors.
- Ability to move throughout the facility to support employees, recruiting events, onboarding activities, and HR initiatives.
- Must be able to work the schedule required to successfully perform assigned responsibilities.
- Previous experience supporting HR, payroll, recruiting, or employee relations functions.
- Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Passion for creating positive employee experiences and building strong workplace relationships.
- Experience coordinating community outreach, job fairs, or recruiting events.
- Ability to connect with employees at all levels and maintain a strong pulse on organizational culture.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and engage diverse employee populations across multiple locations.
- $/hour, depending on experience.
