The Global Mobility and Immigration Specialist is responsible for coordinating and administering employee immigration, international assignments, relocation programs, and global mobility initiatives across North America.

Job Description Immigration Program Management:
Coordinate employment-based immigration processes in partnership with external immigration counsel, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, H-4, F-1/OPT/STEM, PERM, and employment‑based permanent residency processes.

Work Authorization Tracking:
Monitor visa, work authorization, and expiration dates to ensure timely renewals, extensions, amendments, and required filings.

Global Mobility Administration:
Administer international assignments, expatriate programs, cross-border transfers, assignment documentation, extensions, repatriations, and localizations.

Relocation Support:
Coordinate domestic and international relocation programs, including relocation benefits, vendor coordination, reimbursements, temporary housing, travel support, and employee communications.

Compliance and Records:
Maintain accurate immigration, mobility, and assignment records and support compliance with I-9, E-Verify, Public Access File, and applicable documentation requirements.

Employee and Manager Support:
Serve as a primary advisor to employees and managers on visa sponsorship, relocation, assignment benefits, work authorization, travel requirements, and transition planning.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
Partner with HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, Tax, Talent Acquisition, project teams, global mobility teams, and external vendors to support mobility and immigration needs.

International Assignment Process Support:
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support assignment initiation, assignment changes, compensation-related documentation, onboarding requirements, and assignment end processes.

Vendor and Counsel Management:
Coordinate case activity with immigration counsel, relocation vendors, tax advisors, and other service providers to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.

Reporting and Process Improvement:
Maintain tracking tools, prepare reports for HR leadership, monitor case activity, identify compliance risks, and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills and Competencies

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Law, Public Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, expatriate administration, relocation, international HR, or related HR operations.

Immigration Coordination:
Experience managing or coordinating employment‑based immigration matters and working with external immigration counsel.

Global Mobility Expertise:
Experience supporting international assignments, expatriate employees, cross-border transfers, relocation programs, or multinational workforce programs.
