Position: Full-time, HR Records Specialist
Location: Honolulu

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 (depends on experience)

The HR Records Specialist supports Human Resources operations through accurate data management, record maintenance, and transaction processing. This role is responsible for reviewing and updating employee data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, processing HR transactions, and maintaining accurate information within HR systems. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

  • Review, update, and maintain employee records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process daily HR transactions and perform high-volume data entry into HR systems and databases.
  • Audit and validate HR data, identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed.
  • Coordinate the accurate transmission of HR information to benefit vendors, unions, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with reporting, record audits, and data-related HR projects.
  • Respond to inquiries related to employee data and HR records.
  • Support ongoing HR operations and administrative functions as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree preferred; or two years of administrative and customer service experience may be substituted.
  • One year of Human Resources, administrative, data entry, or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
