Job Description - Coordinator I (226 Days) (RTP) Job Description Description

  • Conduct research and investigative interviews concerning compliance reviews and allegations of violations of District policy and preserve documentation in accordance with document retention guidance.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing input and support to leadership to achieve district goals; assist the Compliance Manager and
  • investigators in closing investigations; and conduct site visits as necessary for compliance reviews and investigations.
  • Maintain Document Management Systems related to the Compliance Function in PSO and is able to collect, organize and run analytics needed for reports, and assessments.
  • Prepare memorandum of investigation (MOI) when assisting investigators.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees by responding to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries to assist with Professional Standards
  • Office-related topics, while remaining impartial and confidential.
  • Research and analyze laws, regulations, policies, and precedent decisions to prepare for meetings and to determine conclusions.
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • One year of directly related experience or experience in some capacity of human resources, and/or an administrative investigative role.
  • Please enter up to five (5) knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform this role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the techniques, methods and procedures used in gathering information, conducting interviews, and effective writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations firmly, courteously, tactfully and impartially.
  • Proven ability to present a positive image for the district, maintain professional demeanor, provide effective customer service, and make good decisions.
  • Knowledge of current rules, policies, regulations, laws, principles, and practices related to employee misconduct
  • Knowledge of federal,state, and local laws, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information from intentional or unintentional disclosure.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and to work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proven skills in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to present a positive image for the department and organization.
  • Must possess exceptional writing skills.
