Senior Sourcer - Contract to Hire
Location: Remote in the continental United States. This role is remote in the continental United States. We are unable to consider candidates outside of the continental USA. You will mainly be supporting West-Coast based hiring managers, so our ideal candidate is comfortable working Pacific Time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers across R&D (Software, Hardware, Product, and AI) and G&A to develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies, continuously iterating based on data and market signals.
- Build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for both R&D and G&A roles through proactive outreach, talent mapping, referrals, technical communities, and other creative sourcing channels.
- Research, identify, and engage passive candidates across a range of technical disciplines.
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor by sharing market insights, calibrating candidate profiles with hiring managers, and recommending adjustments to sourcing approaches based on pipeline data.
- Track and analyze pipeline health, sourcing performance, and conversion metrics (outreach, response, and conversion rates) to identify what's working and continuously improve.
- Select, integrate, and champion sourcing tools and AI-enabled recruiting technology to build a scalable, data-driven sourcing process.
- Deliver a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience throughout the sourcing and hiring process.
- Stay ahead of talent trends and emerging sourcing tools and platforms across both software and hardware AI talent markets.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of technical sourcing experience in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated success across both software and hardware/AI-focused technical roles; prior experience at an early-stage or high-growth hardware or AI company strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of hardware and AI-adjacent technical roles, terminology, and stacks (e.g., silicon/chip design, embedded systems, ML infrastructure) beyond traditional software engineering.
- Proven track record building high-quality pipelines, engaging hard-to-reach passive candidates, and supporting closures of top-tier technical talent.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools such as Linked In Recruiter, Gem, or Greenhouse CRM
- Experience sourcing across a breadth of functions, including R&D (software and hardware AI) and G&A (finance, legal, people, operations).
- Experience partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and influence search direction.
- Strong communication and candidate management skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach and build genuine relationships with candidates over time.
- Comfortable using data to assess pipeline health, surface insights, and refine sourcing approaches.
- Experience with AI-enabled recruiting technology.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, able to manage multiple searches simultaneously in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. Based candidates:
To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting hourly range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications.
We use a geographic pay structure based on cost-of-labor markets.
- Tier 1 (e.g., SF Bay Area, NYC, Seattle): $66.97 - $83.71
- Tier 2 (most U.S. metro areas): $58.23 - $72.79
- Tier 3 (other cities): $55.32 - $69.15
Final compensation will be determined by experience, scope, and level, and may vary from the posted range.
