Job Description & How to Apply Below

The HR Specialist provides essential regional support to the HR team by executing and coordinating human resources initiatives aligned with the organization's strategy. This role serves as a critical link between regional operations and Corporate HR Shared Services, ensuring consistent delivery of HR programs, policies, and processes.

This is a broad HR generalist role with recruiting at the forefront. While full-cycle recruiting is a core part of the day-to-day work, the HR Specialist also owns HRIS and ATS administration, onboarding coordination, employee relations support, and day-to-day HR operations for the region. This role is a true operational partner to the facility, not a single-function recruiter, and is expected to move fluidly between sourcing candidates, processing HR system updates, supporting employee questions, and keeping HR programs running smoothly.

The HR Specialist helps build a high-performing workforce by supporting recruiting efforts, leadership development initiatives, employee engagement activities, and employee relations matters. This position requires strong collaboration, operational excellence, and the ability to balance hands‑on execution with strategic support.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of regional HR initiatives across recruiting, engagement, leadership development, and employee relations
  • Partner with the HR Manager to ensure alignment with overall talent strategy
  • Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process for corporate and hourly roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and extending offers
  • Utilize multiple channels. Job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events to source and attract a diverse pool of candidates
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, assessing qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings, particularly for high-volume hourly roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and shape recruitment strategy
  • Facilitate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer coordination
  • Coordinate onboarding processes and new hire orientations, partnering with Corporate HR Shared Services to ensure a smooth start for new hires
  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with local, state, and federal employment law, and maintain accurate documentation of candidate interactions
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other outreach activities to promote the employer brand
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, and source of hire, and use them to improve recruiting effectiveness
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, escalating to the HR Manager as appropriate
  • Support engagement initiatives, internal communications, and recognition programs
  • Assist with documentation and follow‑up on employee relations matters
  • Serve as the day‑to‑day owner of regional HRIS and ATS activity, including employee data updates, requisition management, and system accuracy
  • Collaborate with Corporate HR Shared Services to ensure efficient delivery of HR processes, including onboarding and employee data updates
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports, track HR metrics, and support regional HR projects
  • Greet visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, and determine the purpose of each visit
  • Provide day‑to‑day operational support to the HR Manager and regional leaders
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, including full‑cycle recruiting for both…
