Mount Zion Health & Rehab Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team!

This position plays an important role in supporting our employees and daily facility operations. The HR Coordinator will assist with payroll processing and timekeeping, employee onboarding, recruiting coordination, personnel records, benefits administration, employee support, and other human resources and administrative functions.

As our HR Coordinator, you will help support both our employees and daily facility operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Process payroll and manage employee time clock records accurately and timely
• Answer incoming phone calls and greet facility visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation
• Prepare and maintain onboarding and employee documentation
• Maintain personnel files in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Track employee licenses, certifications, background checks, nurse aide registry verifications, and recertifications
• Assist with recruiting coordination, including job postings, applicant tracking, resume review and occasional phone interviews
• Support staffing needs and coordinate hiring activities with department leaders
• Support employees and supervisors with HR policies, procedures and workplace questions
• Assist with employee benefits enrollment and education
• Participate in meetings, training, in-service education and other administrative functions as assigned
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Administrator

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of HR, payroll, administrative, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred
• Experience with payroll processing, employee records, onboarding, or recruiting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Passionate about supporting employees and contributing to a positive workplace culture
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
