BASIC FUNCTION:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports all departments within Human Resources to keep the team organized and efficient. This team member will collaborate with the Human Resources team to complete administrative tasks and projects. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, integrity, service to others, and confidentiality.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Provides administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer as needed.
  • Supports the Employee Relations team with activities such as processing subpoenas, termination notices, telework authorizations, ordering labor law posters, maintaining personnel files, etc.
  • Supports the Benefits/Compensation/Payroll team with activities such as mailings, audits/compliance checks, scheduling vendor meetings, etc.
  • Supports the Recruiting team with activities related to hiring such as posting jobs on external job boards, scheduling interviews, coordinating drug tests, background checks, pre-employment testing, career fair materials, welcome kits for new hires, etc.
  • Supports the Learning and Internal Communications team with activities related to tracking training programs, collecting team information for internal celebrations, coordinating details of training classes (transportation, food, audio visual needs, etc.).
  • Supports all of HR with processing invoices, maintaining company information, updating third party vendor websites, scheduling meetings, reports, etc.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner and protects that information at all times. This may include information that belongs in personnel files as well as information related to benefits, compensation, pre-employment information (background checks, drug tests, assessment results, etc.).
  • Assists and supports with maintaining the company archives.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, efficiently and accurately.

Requires a thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures as they relate to job responsibilities.

Requires ability to maintain successful working relationships with the Drury team.

Must have the ability to work efficiently and independently.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education and/or

Experience:

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school. One- three years of HR experience is preferred.

Knowledge and

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience in Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint a plus.

High level of interpersonal skills to handle and maintain sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

Keen attention to detail in drafting and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Strong time management and organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Articulate and persuasive communicator.

Exercise good judgement in a variety of situations.
