Job Description Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner will successfully support SOLV Energy’s planning and staffing needs by proactively sourcing and building a diverse pipeline of talented renewable industry professionals while providing an ideal experience to candidates and hiring partners. This role is hybrid, with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties
  • Collaborate with hiring partners to understand their business strategy and identify specific skills needed for critical roles
  • Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind while adapting recruiting strategies and priorities based on evolving business needs
  • Source quality candidates for all positions across multiple states, including remote areas, through the use of social media, employee referrals, external hiring platforms, community outreach, and internal databases
  • Suggest and implement process improvements in order to optimize the recruitment process
  • Maintain the metrics and KPIs as set forth by the Talent Acquisition Director
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by implementing inclusive sourcing and hiring practices
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Take ownership of overall candidate experience and provide ideas for improvement
  • Manage candidate pipeline by continuously building and maintaining talent simultaneously showing responsiveness to all candidate inquiries
  • Maintain accurate entry, integrity, and confidentiality of data for each candidate
  • Maintain professional communications and high level of confidentiality at all times with candidates
  • Work on multiple high priority recruiting projects in a competitive environment at any given time
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with candidate sources (ex. Industry Events, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders
  • Maintain current understanding of recruiting landscape in construction/renewable energy and relevant industry dynamics
  • Maintain a solid understanding of Company provided benefits and employment policies and procedures
  • Apply Company’s HR recruiting best practices to all activities
  • Team oriented mindset with willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to team goals and overall success
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements
  • 4-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in strategic and high-volume recruiting environments
  • Experience recruiting in construction, renewable energy, infrastructure, or related technical fields strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of building trusted relationships with business leaders and influencing hiring decisions through data and insights
  • Advanced sourcing expertise using professional networks, digital platforms, and creative outreach methods
  • Experience with creating Boolean searches, knowledge of industry related job boards and talent pipeline cultivation
  • Highly skilled in identifying, attracting/selling, screening, interviewing candidates, onboarding new hires
  • Working knowledge of basic employment law surrounding recruiting, screening, and onboarding processes
  • Demonstrated ability to understand diverse trade disciplines to effectively align candidates with roles, functions, and skill levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems;
    Workday preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
