• Ensure the execution and implementation of the overall strategy and vision for staffing, recruiting, internal development, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Responsible for all human resources responsibilities of direct and indirect reports (e.g. hiring, coaching, training, appraising, etc.).
• Anticipate talent needs and create strategies that will utilize staff to build a succession plan to meet forecasted field staffing needs.
• Analyze reports of progress against designated HR metrics and make recommendations on opportunities to increase the retention of key talent.
• Remain current on trends in the industry and HR field; implementing new ideas to ensure the team is effectively attracting, developing and engaging top talent.
• Responsible for acting as a consultant to influence clients and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change.
• Manage internal and external resources in the administration of staffing, training, and employee relations systems, policies, practices, and budgets.

• Strong knowledge of all relevant employment laws and regulations, including Wage and Hour, FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation and other DOL regulations
• Excellent understanding of the retail environment

BA in Human Resources, business or a related field required, graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience to include Employee Relations, Training and Recruiting. Strongly prefer extensive HR generalist experience. PHR/SPHR a plus.
