Job description:

Clearwave Mental Health is a growing mental healthcare organization providing specialized psychiatric care and innovative treatment options across our ten New York locations. As we continue to grow, we're growing our People & Organizational Development function, which is intentional about how we hire, develop, support, and recognize our employees. We're looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team and play an important role in that work.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative HR position with exposure to many areas of the employee experience. You'll report directly to the Associate Director of People & Organizational Development and collaborate with leaders and employees across the organization. You'll be involved in hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, training, internal communications, recognition programs, company events, and HR projects. You'll have opportunities to take ownership of projects, bring your own ideas to the table, and see the impact of your work across the organization.

This role is a great fit for someone who wants more than a traditional administrative HR position. We want someone who is curious, organized, people-oriented, detail-focused, and proactive.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and connection.
  • Bring forward ideas that help employees feel recognized, informed, and connected to the organization.
