Position Overview

Summary:

The Human Resource Intern will support the HR team in various aspects of recruitment, employee relations, training, and overall HR operations. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in gaining practical experience in human resource management and contributing to a dynamic HR department.

Essential Functions

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist with the job posting process on various platforms.
    • Assist with screening resumes and applications to help identify qualified candidates.
    • Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Participate in conducting initial phone interviews.
  • Onboarding:
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and participating in orientation sessions.
    • Assist with ensuring new employee paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
  • Employee Records Management:
    • Assist with maintaining and updating employee records and databases.
    • Assist in the preparation and processing of HR-related documents.
  • HR Administration:
    • Support the HR team in day-to-day administrative tasks, including the preparation of HR-related reports and presentations.
    • Assist in organizing employee files and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Assist in maintaining employee records and HR databases with high accuracy.
    • Help respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain confidentiality in all HR-related matters.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Participate in planning and organizing employee engagement activities and events.
    • Support HR initiatives aimed at improving employee morale and workplace culture.
  • Training and Development:
    • Assist in identifying training needs and helping organize training sessions.
    • Assist in maintaining training records and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • HR Projects:
    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
    • Conduct research on HR best practices and trends.
    • Other duties as assigned

    The HR landscape is constantly evolving, with new technologies and trends emerging regularly.
