The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee programs, and day-to-day HR activities. This role works closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, HR Team, and hiring managers to help ensure an organized and positive candidate and employee experience

What You’ll Do

Provide general administrative and operational support to HR Team, Talent Acquisition Specialist, employees, and managers.

Assist with job postings, updates, and recruiting advertisements across the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.

Provide administrative support to recruiting activities, including outreach, resume review, interview coordination, and other tasks as requested.

Perform routine ATS clean-up and identify outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate information for correction or follow-up.

Assist with coordinating reference checks, background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements.

Prepare, send, and track new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding activities as needed.

Maintain accurate HR records, trackers, employee information, and other documentation.

Configure, prepare, and maintain new hire equipment, system access, and login information in coordination with appropriate departments.

Coordinate employee recognition initiatives and milestones, including birthdays, anniversaries, employee spotlights, and announcements.

Support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, company events, and other HR activities as needed.

Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience:

One to Two (1-2) years related work experience

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize time sensitive items.

Ability to build rapport with employees.

Maintain a high level of customer service.

High sense of confidentiality.

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other HRIS/ATS systems.

Pay: $20-$24/hr
